No washer and dryer for us. We put something much more important in that space a wine fridge!

I was sorry to lose the space for storage, but absolutely love having the Splendide combo. It took some time to learn how to dry without wrinkling, but I've got it down pact now.

No washer/dryer for us. Cost of washer/dryer combo, plus occasional maintenance, is much more than our $3/week laundry cost at RV park. Plus we have the extra space!!

Would rather be lighter and have more space. Also with the small load capacity of the installed units would rather just use the RV park machines.

Spendide W/D f or 11 years. Not your home W/D by a long shot but as we are long timers we need it and use it . Run 2 or 3 loads a week.

Don't have one yet but we just got the new rig with hookups. Plan to get one before long.

Good idea though Capt Kidd!

Same here, plus wife doesn't want to do laundry EVERY day!

Hookups are there but the loss of storage space, cost of purchase and the added 125-150 pounds pin weight on a marginally GVW stickered truck say that a few bucks every week at a laundromat or RV facility will be 'forever' no w/d.

We have the hookups, but do not have the washer and dryer. I still prefer having the extra closet space.
If I buy one, I would buy the separate washer and dryer.

Although we have the supposed "lack of storage" 3820FK with the "what were they thinking" laundry location, we installed a Splendide ventless in the roughed in position in the bedroom closet.

We love it. Wouldn't have normally bought a unit to install but got a freebie that needed a new control board. So for that low cost we thought we would give it a try. The tight space next to the bed really isn't that big of deal. We do frequent small loads and the hassle of dealing with crappy campground machines is a thing of the past. Cycle times are long with the ventless, but who cares. Start a load and forget about it for a couple hours. Water and power usage is surprisingly low.

Not for us, that's what laundromats are for. Why carry the extra weight?

It is true they do small loads and take a long time to dry but it is not like you are beating your clothing with rocks down at the creek. Twirl a dial, push a button and go about your day.
