2007 3400RL Basement

Picked up a new to me 3400. I am looking to organize the basement. How thick is the deck above the holding tanks?

Thinking of installing a slide or drawer to get to stuff easier. Trying to figure out how to attach to the floor of the basement and not hit anything important.

Any ideas folks?

Many folks on the Forum here have done that mod and I had it on my 2003 Big Sky so I know it is no problem to install,I myself did not like it took up too much room they are HEAVY and left just a little space on the sides for little gain IMO... BUT some folks like them ,so go for it and other members will chime in on the Brand and tips to install I am sure

We had 2008 and 2011 3400's. The flooring is around 1/2 inch thick. I screwed some "D" rings to the floor for straps, and made sure the screws were no more than 1/2 inch long, or depending on how thick whatever device you are screwing down, the screws will go no deeper than the 1/2 inch thickness of the floor.

If you can figure out where the framing and supports are underneath, and keep the screws over them, then the tanks would be out of danger.

If you look you will note that foot print of the tanks are inside the frame and the secure points for the tray are outside the frame.
we had one in our 06 3400 and in our 13 3402. Verify that.
