Posting Pics to forum

I've tried and can't get it right. I go to the picture I want to post,I right click on the picture and bring up Properties. I copy the URL of the picture. I then as I read but I'm doing something wrong---[img]past what I copied[/img] I test it and get a box where the picture is suppose to be. This makes me feel like a real dummy because I've been using a computer for quite awhile but have never posted a picture. I use Snapfish to all my picture sharing and have never posted to a forum. Can someone take the time to walk me through this Like posting pics for Dummies.. Thanks

Here is the link for the instructions.
http://www.montanaowners.com/AddingPhoto.html

Don't forget that you need to add the [IMG] before and [/IMG] after the URL, and you need the brackets.

Besides having the picture online, The important part is using the proper IMG tag.

For the above image the tag will look like this...
[IMG]http://i38.tinypic.com/34oo8ig.jpg[/IMG]
If any part of the IMG tag is incorrect you will get the small box with the x

You can go to TinyPic to upload your image.
After it has uploaded copy the tag under IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards and paste this into your message and/or signature block.
