Helen,
I have a feeling you are going to be in Maryland in about 9 weeks to pick up your new Big Sky....

Tell you what Dave,,For that price that is a Heck of a upgrade from the 3400. Don't know why the apparent large discount but I personally would not care.. That is a offer that would be hard to turn down...IF... the Big Sky quality holds up and there is no reason why it should not be a cut above..It is basically a 3400 so no new construction issues and they should be building less of them which should lead to better quality. Hopefully there will be one at Quartzsite this weekend. There are 2 montana dealers there that we know of and we will give it a good going over.

Dave, Friday is the big day. I promise to take pictures for you. As much as I love the new look though I am so happy with our open floor plan of the 3475 that it would be hard to make a trade right now. That doesn't mean that I don't know a good deal when I hear one lthough and of course it's not Friday yet. LOL

Would someone mind shooting a pic of the underneath of the dryer shelf on the Big Sky (pretty please). Just want to see what it's constructed with and how it is attached. Hopefully I can reproduce it in our 3400.

Helen--I look forward to any pictures you take and any insight you gain from looking at the Big Sky. We leave for Costa Rica early Saturday morning, so it may be a week before we get back here to gain the benefit of what you all see in the Big Sky down in Tampa. Since we were already planning to go with the 3400, there is no problem for us with the floor plan for the 340RLQ--almost like Keystone was acting with us in mind. And with the good price I can get locally on the 340RLQ, seems like a no-brainer for us to go with the Big Sky--it offers so many extras for full-timing.
Brad--you want a picture of the underside of the dryer shelf?????? LOL!!!!!
Have seen lots of comments in this thread and others about things people think should be done differently in the Big Sky. Think I will start a new thread in the "Hey Keystone" forum to pass some of these ideas onto Keystone in case they are not reading these other threads. I encourage others to chime in on that thread with things they think should be changed. Even if you aren't thinking of getting a Big Sky, it would be useful to make sure Keystone knows how we feel so that some of these changes work there way into the Montana line.

David -
The Big Sky has the same washer dryer closet as the 3400, but they put a shelf midway up that holds the dryer (website pictures). That eliminates the need for the stacking kit and actually leaves room above the washer to access the water valves. I was hoping for a picture of the underside of the shelf to see what it is constructed with, and to see how they secured it to the wall.
