Interesting comment from one of their engineers on the extreme weather video. "designed to pull up to 10,000 pounds in this 107 degree heat". Does this mean I will have to cut off the the back 6 feet off the Montana?

Ford has two weight categories, one for bumper towing and one for 5th wheel towing. He was talking about the bumper towing. That number is about the same as my 08 F-250

Sorry gregh999. That was my poor attempt at dry humour. I don't doubt for a minute that all the big 3 diesels will pull a heavier fifth wheel. I hope nobody thinks I am trying to stir up a debate about Ford vs GM. I think they are both great trucks. I almost bought a Ford a couple of weeks ago but ended up with a GM - mainly because I found the seats more comfortable.
