Bathroom Door on 353 RL High Country

IS there anyway of changing the bathroom door so when entering from the bedroom you don't risk falling down the steps. My wife has done this twice when getting up at night.

If it's because it's too dark and she can't see, put a night light in the bathroom. If it's because of where the door is next to the steps, maybe you could install an assist handle, like what is used on the outside at the steps, mounted on the wall just to the rear of the window, that you could have sticking out at night to act as a barrier to help prevent a fall, then folded against the wall during the day.

I added two additional assist handles on my last two Montanas.

We looked at units with that setup that sent you down the stairs to get into the bathroom. We both thought that was really a BAD setup and would actually pass on a unit setup like that. Would really have to look and see if it would be possible to change the side the hindges were on.

I feel your pain. This is my least favorite feature on our 310RE. We considered putting on slider hinges like are on some of the high-end Montanas, but we are used to it now.
