Hitch Wear

We have a 16K manual slider Reese Hitch purchased new in December, 2006. I am noticing areas of wear in the jaws, on the slider rails and in the pin where the top part of the hitch fastens to the bottom. The hitch no longer slides on the rails. Is there a lifespan to these hitches? Should I consider replacing the entire hitch or would replacement parts suffice? Anyone have any experience with this?

Sounds like I'd be shopping for a new hitch.

Good luck

When I added a 20K head to my 15K slider I contacted Reese's customer service and they were great. Give them a call and ask that question and you'll get the straight scoop right from the folks who really know.
