Range Vent Cover Replacement

The range vent cover on the outside of the Monty has became a nasty yellow color. I would like to change it with a new one. Does the cover simply bolt on? Is there any internal connection to the vent duct itself to be concerned with?

Thanks.

Bob, you should be able to remove the screws and pry off the outside vent, might need a puddy knife to get started. Clean off the area, put some puddy tape on the new vent and screw it back on . Trim off the excess puddy tape after tighting, and seal around the new vent with a thin bead of white silicon. Should look like new. Kerry

Krylon plastic paint will make it look like a new one.

Acetone will make the yellowed plastic on our rigs white again. Be careful, though, as acetone (nail polish remover) dissolves most plastics so a little goes a long way. Put some on a rag and test an unobtrusive area, first. If you like what you see, go for it.

Mine has started to turn yellow and my thoughts were Krylon paint but I think I'll try the acetone thing first.
