Mattress replacement
Think I found where I am going to get my replacement mattress.
http://www.rockymountainmattress.com/
Anyone have a better source? These folks will make a custom unit which is what I need for the size and rounded bottom corners.

you don't have to rd the corners , just order a king that is 72" wide not the standard 76" but lenght is ok at 80" , we replaced the spread at that time and love it , pillow top and all , finally a good nits sleep john

How hard is it to get a king size mattress in and out of the trailer? I pick up my new unit next week and the first thing to go is going to be that awful matress! I am not even leaving the dealer with a mattress. I just hope there is a decent matress factory between the dealer and Branson so we don't have to sleep on the couch the first night.

Okie guy - the folks at Rocky Mtn Matt. recommended a custom mattress.
3in firm base, 3in medium base, 2in 5# memory foam, 2in 4# memory. this is all individual sheets of foam that you can manipulate as desired and comes with a cover similar to a fitted sheet but more underneath coverage. You can also get the layers glued togather. He said that is what he has in his own home and the sheets of foam do not shift.
This type of mattress is probably much easier to get in the 5th also since it can be moved in pieces.
I do need the 78 inch length with rounded corners as the matress now rests on the drawers when slide is in.
Price quoted was $815.

I had my mattress redone. the springs are a high end spring, but there was very little padding. see if you can find a manufacture that will do this. If you going to be in the boise, idaho area pm me and i will give you the phone number of the person that did mine.

Bought an "irregular" memory foam mattress off of eBay. 3" 6.0 memory foam and 4" base foam, totalling 7". Paid $105.00 for a king size with cover. Great mattress at great price. So far we love it. Just couldn't see spending thousands on something that we may not like. Now will order one for 5er. Probably just a topper. Good luck.
