On the Road again, Rally bound.(update)

Well we are all packed AGAIN. we just got unpacked form 4 years on the road and now we head back out again. We hope to hit Goshen on or about the 15th. From there we head out to KC for a week or so. From there we head back to Land O Lakes where we plan on staying for the winter. THE WHOLE DAMN WINTER. ALL 8 MONTHS OF IT!!!!! We will be offline for a few days until we find a CG with decent WIFI or I decide to set up the Hughes dish again. We will see all you Rally attendees in a couple weeks. This will be the last trip for the China Bombs, 3 Goodyear Marathons, one Carlyle and one freestar. As soon as we get home we will buy the new Kelly H rated 17.5s.. 4805 lb rating per tire, SWEET.. See ya'll at the Rally... Blew out one of the Marathons near Montello Wisconsin and wrecked the same area that got trashed when the Mission blew in 08. 235/80R 16s are impossible to find anywhere in Southern Wisconsin. I tried all the tire stores from Rockford Ill to Madison Wisconsin. finally found an independent tire shop that had two left on the shelf. I bought both and will have the Marathons that are trashed at the rally. Damn I hate these E range tires......

Dave, what do you mean 8 months, I thought it was more like 11. We're heading to Ft. Pierce, FL at the end of Oct for the same reason. Had enough of that nasty white stuff. See you at the Rally

We blew one of those Chineese bombs before I got the G-rated tires. Damage was minimal to the side, but the tread also tore the roof. $7k total damage, but looks new now.
I also feel more at ease now when towing, not worried when the tire will blow, as we all know has or will happen! The bombs I took off didn't have 6000 miles on them and 3 out of four were defective. Now waiting on a response from Goodyear to see if they will step up and give us a credit towards the G-614s that I purchased to replace those pieces of ----!

It just keeps getting better. We got to Lincoln Ill today and I opened the slides and now the lamp shade looks like the Hogwarts sorting hat. We will have to run to Wally tomorrow and buy a new shade for the lamp. The Hughes system doesn't want to work either but the CG has wifi so all is not lost.. Gonna sleep in tomorrow...

IT's going to be a cheap fix Dave! At least the slide didn't get messed up! Mary says you'll have to redo the whole interior now to match that new lamp shade!!

Maybe you should hold your mouth in another direction. It goes with the saying "You're not holding your mouth right!"

Good luck.

Perhaps the Navy guy needs the Marine guards he had when active duty, just a random thought from a retired AF guy.

Dave,
You know it isn't E rated tires, it's E rated Chinese Road Bombs.
