Dexter Heavy Duty Axle Kit part number

I have a 2005 2955RL with Dexter D52-8 axles. I want to upgrade to wet bolts. Is kit #K71-359-00 the correct kit?

Sounds like a question for dexter as the chances of a moc member having that rig could be slim. I haven't looked at the dexter website to see what wet bolt kit info is there, but I would think it should be.

The only difference between the K71-359-00 kit and the K71-358-00 is the 359 has equalizers and are for 33" axle spacing.

The 358 is for one axle set, and both are for 1 3/4" wide springs.

So, if your axles are at 33" apart, center to center, it looks like this will work. You can also upgrade to the E-Z Flex equalizers by using the K71-652-00, again for 33" spacing on your axles.

This is all listed in their Parts Kit Catalog: http://www.dexteraxle.com/resources/...ts-kit-catalog

I just crawled under and the axles are 35 inches center to center. I don't see a pn for that spacing. Hmmmmmmm

K71-449-00 for the 35" axle spacing, and for the E-Z Flex kit, the kit is K71-653-00, also for 35" spacing.

You might want to check with etrailer before you call Dexter. You might get a better price from etrailer than Dexter. https://www.etrailer.com/

I have wondered where all those new parts that are removed from trailers when upgraded to I.s. systems by all the rv manufacturers. My guess was places like etrailer, but maybe not.
