Restore Leather Color

Anyone ever tried to restore the color to leather seats? The brown leather seats on the DW's '08 King Ranch Expedition are in good shape, but the color on the edges where we slide in and out is losing color. I can find various products on the internet, but would like to hear from someone who has actually done it.

I have an 08 KR. This leather is not like the leather in most cars or most furniture. It is a natural uncoated leather. Most leather has a coating on it to protect it. If it gets scratched you can't get it out the Uncoated leather scratches easy but you can get a scratch out. You haft to be careful of what you put on it. I use Lexoil NF. Most leather care products will darken this leather. The NF means neats foot and I think any neats foot oil should work. I can't get it back like new but will bring the color back as much as possible. You might go to the Lexiol web site. They have a lot of info there.

Go to the King Ranch website and they sale a conditioner for their leather. Use it on my truck and really like it.
