2007.5 Chevy MPG

For anyone looking to be buying a new truck make sure you look at the GM products. This truck is just amazing. 1st tank and it's showing 17.3 to 18.3 avg mpg, that will do. Next first mileage in town it's showing 16.3 avg mpg. This is with the truck having less than 200 miles on the odometer. If this continues, and hopefully gets better as some have posted on the GM forum I'll be a very happy and grateful person.
I'm still in aw over this mpg.

Another surprise is that I've found the DIC MPG on my 07 Classic D/A to be very accurate. Not so on older Chevys.

Guys, don't be posting those mpg results! I'm trying to hang on to my 2002 for another 2 years. You are making it difficult...

So far I've been getting about 12+ towing and as high as 19.7 empty. I don't rely on the computer, these are all accurate numbers figured with every fill up.

mac,
You are getting close to me...I just filled up today putting in 24.2 gallons after traveling 525 miles. That was mostly highway miles minus roughly 60 miles of city driving.
