Bounce

I finally got a chance to give Monty a good washdown on Friday morning as She was still covered with the nasty remains of the bugs from our trip from Illinois. I decided rather than expend a lot of elbow grease I would try the Bounce fabric sheets that have been suggested by several other MOC members.

I was amazed at how easy the bugs came off the cap! No scrubbing, no cussing, no sweat. I moistened the sheet and washed. Those nasty bugs just melted off. Sooooo, thinks I can this work on the black streaks that are caused from my gutter? Oh yeah!! I needed a little more elbow grease, but those nasty black steaks are gone as well.

Now Ms Montana looks absolutely beautiful. In fact, she is the most beautiful rig in the resort. Course, I'm prejudiced.

Glad they worked for you, too. Any brand will of dryer sheets will work great! Sure makes a tough job a breeze. I keep a box in the basement w/cleaning supplies.

You can also use them after they have done their job in the dryer. They work that way too. We have used them when we were low on the new ones. When a person lives 12 miles from the nearest store, we make do with what we have to keep from making a trip for one thing.

Glad to hear the trick worked out well for you. It is one of the greatest tricks I have learned here...

I'm sure this is common knowledge to most of you here...but the scented Bounce fabric sheets also keep away the mice. I had a problem with mice in my old TT, actually, many of us at the campground did. I hated that darned smell of moth balls everywhere thru the campground in the fall and spring too...LOL I heard about Bounce, tried it, and it works fantastic! I told everyone I know at the campground, and those of us who use it, don't have to touch those stinky moth balls anymore, and don't have the telltale signs of little pets. Just my two little pennies worth...:-) Jan

Try it on your shower doors also. Takes the water spots off.
Happy trails.....................

Also very good for repelling mosquitoes. just stick a sheet in your pocket, belt loop or whatever, and the mosquitoes stay away.

Thanks for the info-now my wife won't have to spend so much time cleaning the trailer and can get busy cooking dinner and washing the floors sooner.

I live in the Texas Panhandle where our water is very hard---after a wash and rinse on the fifth wheel I always have water spots on the windows that are almost impossible to clean--I tried the Bounce sheets on these spots and removed 95 pecent of them--then I finished the job with glass cleaner--

I found that for getting the bugs off, just a couple of drops of dawn dish washing liquid in hot water makes the bounce sheets work even better!
