Ok, as I stated in my op, I need to get the fifth wheel prep plate for the 2015 f-350. found a discount ford parts supplier on line, in NV. they had part for $419. ok great this is cheaper then reese after market part. so I place order shipping charge only $39. got a comformation email shortly afterward, total $459 WOW!!!! . Not so fast, next day get another email, shipping charges will be $174 that now $593. $48 more then my local ford dealer down the road, thanks but no thanks.
called E-trailer got direct fit part (made by Reese) for $468 and free shipping.

Way to shop around, Phil. As for the truck, congratulations. It must be tough having to wait 'til spring to give it a good road test. Rest assured, your spring will be here before ours at least. I grew up in New Carrollton, Md. Best wishes with your new Ford.

Awaywego, that is a pretty good price, but as luck would have it, got on Monday.

I just opened boxes to make sure every thing was accounted for, and wouldn't you know it, missing some hardware. Called support # shipping out tomorrow.
