When Are You Heading Out

We leave tomorrow afternoon. Friday night we'll be in Arkansas, Saturday in Bloomington, Illinois and Sunday in Goshen. We'll be on I40, I55 and I80. We'll be watching for fellow MOC rally attendees along the way. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Been here since the 5th. Didn't see anyone along the way. Have run into Jay Bird and KSboy since we arrived. See you guys (and gals) when you get here.

Drive safe everyone.

We'll see Terrie on Monday and you when you return Thursday. We have such a long way to come, almost 180 miles, may take all day.

We just arrived at Buckeye Lake, Ohio today. We are taking in the Wilds on Saturday and the Columbus Zoo on Sunday. We will be leaving here for Goshen on Tuesday. Thought we would do some sightseeing on the way.

Several of us are up at the Elkhart Campground until Sunday. Been here for too long, had to leave the fairgrounds and find a place with sewer so I could do some laundry.

Unbelievably good "bad luck". Terrie was putting travel items to take to the Montana when she heard a sound like a rock hitting the truck. The bolts broke on the muffler while she was standing there. $50 and 1 hour delay. Imagine if it happened at 65 mph on the interstate. Safe travels and good luck.

Two other Montanas in the campground. One of them is Navybanker. I'll pull out as early as I can tomorrow. It's at least a ten hour trip.

We are headed out from Owen Sound, Ontario tomorrow afternoon with a stop over near Sarnia, Ontario. Then on our way with a stop for some supplies at a grocery store on the way. We can't bring our fresh meat and veggies in to the U.S. from Canada. Any easy to get to spots along the 69/80/90 corridor? We don't want to go into Elkhart until we take the fiver off. Are there large food stores in Goshen?
See some of you on Sunday afternoon.

S.M.A.R.T. group in the 400 area told they need to be out by 9:00 AM (0900 for the Vets) on Sunday. Everyone should be able to move into their site then.

Several stores in Goshen, it is a good sized little burg. Walleyworld and others. You won't have to go to Elkhart unless you want to for groceries.

Safe rides.

Well, the saga continues. Last night we noticed the driver side had a 6" gap between the wheels and the passenger side had about 10". Stopped at Campers World in Little Rock and they advised it would be unsafe to travel. Unloaded trailer, left it in Little Rock and drove 5 hours home. I fly to Milwaukee for work tomorrow. Terrie will drive the truck up Wednesday to Little Rock and I'll fly in Thursday morning. We'll hitch up and be to Goshen late Thursday (midnight?). We have an appointment at Lippert Friday morning and we'll be going to the factory tour. Hopefully we'll be back on track after that. Safe travels.
