Possible rally location for 2015

Some friends of ours drove through Anchor Down Campground in Dandridge, TN and could not get over how nice the campground was. I "heard" the rally may be in Tennessee again next year, so this may be a possibility.

Is that the new one on Douglas Lake? If so, did you check camping fees?

$49-$69 per night without negotiating for a rally price.

I think a great location for the mid Atlantic rally for 2015 would be in the Charleston, S.C. area if the rates are reasonable.

Charleston is WONDERFUFL............James Island or Mt. Pleasant. We love James Island.

James Island is one of our favorite campgrounds, but there is not a shelter in the campground.

Usually, the major item to determine whether a campground is a suitable location depends on whether they will set aside a block of sites to allow people to make reservations. State parks usually will not do this, whereas private parks will. A covered pavilion as Carla mentioned is usually needed as well.

I just came across this campground - http://smokymountainpremierrvresort.com. It's kind of off the beaten path but about 15 miles from Gatlinburg. Just a possibility.
