Christmas Gifts

Thought I would show what I did for my daughters and granddaughters for Christmas. Proves I do not have to much time on my hands.

Hey would you like to adopt me. Those are really nice. How long did it take to do them. Or are you fast. I've seen people sit and talk and do that and never miss a stitch.

Ron,
Thank You. It took about 6 weeks to do all of that plus a couple more towels I forgot to take pictures of. I can watch TV and talk while doing it until I get to a difficult part.
Happy trails.....................

Sue those are great. You are a very talented lady. Your kids will have heirlooms to pass on.

Sue, your gifts are beautiful. I have a similar towel in the things from Glen's mom and never knew that it was a special art form. You are very ambitious.

Judy, you have something very special. The towels are Huck Embroidery, the Christmas table runners are Swedish weave. I also found some towels in my Mother's things, they were made by my Great Grandmother. This craft was very popular in the 30's and 40's and is really experiencing a come back.
Happy trails......................
