Group Campfire Poll

I would like to know if anyone is interested in doing a group campfire theme?

Examples:
- 50's & 60's theme (poodle skirts, slicked back hair, etc)
- cowboys & girls
- trailer park theme (Hilbilly)
- all of the above or make up a new one

I think it would be a great way to "get to know" each other.

Anyone interested?

Is the campground going to supply the wood or do we need to bring some. Last year I think they supplied it for us.

Not to be a party pooper but how about a "come as you are" and I are 62 and like my everyday shorts and tee shirt theme just fine and I'll still "get to know" ya. One of the reasons I left the last club is they always had to have a theme. Be it Halloween, Thanksgiving, Valentines, pajama party, 50/60's, etc you name it they had a theme night for it. As fulltimers we don't carry costumes as part of our attire.

I agree with Glenn. I just like to sit around and shoot the bull with my neighbor or anyone in shouting distance.

Heck - some of my 'everyday' attire looks like a costume to others !

I think a group campfire is a great idea. It seems that many have strong feelings regarding themes. We're willing to go with the majority. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

We agree with Glen. Please no themes. I'm not a themey person.

The group camp fire would be really nice. But if I had my 'druthers, I'd 'druther not do a theme either.

Group camp fire sounds awesome, but neither of us are really "themers" either. Just sittin' around shootin' the bull sounds great to me.

Thanks again all for organizing this!!

No theme is fine, I was just seeing if anyone wanted to do something like that. Sounds like everyone is "themed out".

Just bring yourselves and some good cheer!

Wendy, thanks for your enthusiasm tho! No themes for us either, we might just be too tired. Looking forward to a campfire each night, we loved them last year! Kim
