I see etrailer has a 250 capacity ladder on sale for $80. It comes with hinges that allows it to work with a curved rear cap. http://www.etrailer.com/RV-Ladders/S...myTxoC0nXw_wcB

I have had to replace my ladder twice due to "dumb@#%" mistakes backing my trailer into the warehouse where I store it by myself. I now ALWAYS have a spotter.
But, my research failed to find any ladders on the Internet where I could be confident the supports would line up with the factory support locations.
I ended up ordering one from the dealer, and letting them install it. The second time, again I tried to find one on the web with no success. But, this time I ordered it from the dealer, but installed it myself. Not a difficult job, you can use the back supports without unscrewing them from the trailer, but you have to unscrew the bottom and top support locations. Use the self leveling Dicor on the roof.

You will be shocked at the cost of the ladder from Keystone, and go into total heart failure when they tell you the shipping costs. I tried to live with the bent ladder, but it bugged me every time I looked at the back of the trailer.

Try this place: http://www.trekwood.com/replacements. My ladder exists only as a support for my flagpole and my weather station. I wouldn't use it on a bet.

If you have any RV Salvage businesses in your area, you might be able to pick one up there for about 1/2 the price you pay on any of the other sited post here by others!

I had to replace mine on an other Keystone Product. Bought it from the dealer, I didn't the price was too bad. If I remember it was around $125. As Steve said it is not too hard to change.

I shouldn't use mine on a bet either. But I need to replace damaged skylight/ vents and add awnings to my slides. How do you safely access your roof?

Welcome to the forum!

Unless you are really big, there is no reason to not use your ladder as long as its properly connected and seems tight and stable as you use it. I use it every trip to put my sat antenna on and off the top and to clean the slide tops before retracting.
