2019 Furrion Observation Camera Not Syncing

Just picked up our new 2019 FB3921. I tried to synch the camera at the rear with the monitor on the dash. It keeps "failing". I sense the camera doesn't have power. I keep trying to pair and hit the synch button on the bottom of the camera but no soap. Then I moved the monitor next to the camera under portable power - still no pairing. On other sites, people say that the running/parking/headlights have to be "on" in order for the camera to be energized. Anyone have an idea? Thanks in advance.

The camera gets its power from the taillights. Plug the RV into the truck, turn on the running lights and then do the pairing exercise.

Carl n Susan, Thanks, you are right on with your reply. I don't really care to leave running lights on during the daytime but I guess there is no other choice.
