On the road to Colorado

Greetings from one of the new Texas Highway Department rest stops with full and free internet access. This one is near Quanah, Texas in Hardeman County. A very attractive visitor's center, but best of all is the internet access. We will stop soon for the day and continue on our way to Colorado tomorrow. Making an easy trip of it.

David and Shirley, you are right those 2 rest stops on that highway are grand. Where did you stop for the night? If you or anyone travels that way again there is a nice park 15 miles east of Childress - Ye Ole Cotton Gin RV Park, it is listed in Trailer Life Directory, breakfast and phone included.

Safe travels.

Here we are this morning at the other nice rest stop with an EXCELLENT connection. We spent last night at the Ole Town Cotton Gin near Goodlett, Texas. Are moving on to Colorado today. Got to run.

Saturday morning: safely arrived at daughter Margaret's side yard in Buena Vista, Colorado. Spent last night at Westcliffe, Colorado in the Grape Creek RV Park. Easy 2 hours on to BV from there.

So this completes our trip from East Texas to Colorado.
