Wow, what fun. It turns out that Rich and Helen and staying at the campground right next door to us. If we look our our front door we see their Montana just up the hill. Rich drove over this morning while Helen walked down the hill to join us for coffee. They came back to join us for a cookout tonight and we had a wonderful fire with smoors and all. I will be posting some pictures of Rich eating his smoor on my blog as soon as we stop having fun long enough to do so. We have a perfect spot for all of us at Shirley and Gene's site. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Kenster71.... E-mail us when you get in. Saturday is our last day here but maybe we could get a chance to meet you guys before we leave. We all just returned from a long day going to Spearfish Canyon with lunch at Cheyenne Crossing and the rest of the day at Deadwood. It was a beautiful Hot Hot day and we are all exhausted.

Dave, I only lost $10.00 at the casino before Bill pulled me away. I bought a T-shirt and feel like I came home a real winner.

Helen,

While I am sorry you lost $10, I am glad that it was not more... Which casino did you find yourself in? I was hoping you were going to hit it big...

Finally on the road, as a genuine full timer. All our stuff is sold and the house is on the market waiting for that buyer. We are heading to Bruce Ms ?? to visit her mother's grave and then on to Mt Rushmore . We hope to be there around the end of the month. Hopefully there will be some MOC members to meet live.

Well all of us at the mini rally have gone our seperate ways. I only hope that all of you that are now in or on your way to the Beautiful Black Hills have a great of a time as we did. Itis a wonderful place to visit and it was twice as nice to share it with our fellow MOC'ers.

You just never know who you may run into when "on the road" Bill and Helen (adelmoll) were right next door within sight so we had some good times and good trips with Bill Helen and Company. The bad lands are just great..so much to see.We are now in Casper, Wy at the Fort Casper campground..The nice thing about not having a plan is it is easy to change..we were going to Laramie and Cheyenne,Wy then about a hour ago decided we would like to see Estes Park so we made reservations at the Riverview C.G in Loveland, Co. From there who knows.

Helen, We also had a great time at the "mini-rally", and look forward to seeing everyone again before too long.
Rich, funny you should comment about never knowing who you are going to meet up with on the road -- we were in Independence, MO night before last, and found that Steve and Vicki Reigle were 3 or 4 sites down from us. We were only staying one night, and would never have known they were there if they hadn't just happened to drive by while I was outside. Anyway, we really did enjoy our visit with them.

Redrover98 we will be in Custer SD on the 21 of July I think. Don't have my book handy. We will be staying at broken arrow campground for 5 or 6 days and then heading east again.

Samuel and I plan to leave for SD and the Black Hills on Aug. 27th or near that date. We will go north to Westminster, VT to see my family for a few days, then head West. We need to see them on our way to SD because we will go to Bill Monroe's Bluegrass festivile in KY the last week of Sept. and from there on to FL for the winter.

Anyone going out there in Sept?

Ronstan,
We will be in Custer on Friday June 29 and stay at the Heritage Village campground. We plan to be in the area until the end of July. I am not sure if we will remain at Heritage the whole time or move after the 4th of July. Hopefully our paths will cross. Tonight we are in Onawa, Iowa. Hope to be at Mitchell tomorrow.
