Montana 20th Anniversary Edition

Have you received any information about the Montana 20th anniversary edition? We are looking to possibly buy a 2019 model.

I watched a video on the Haylett RV YouTube channel. From what I can see so far is a laundry hamper in the main closet, day and night shades to include bedroom in the non-Legacy package, some changes to wood work around light fixtures and maybe a painted area change on the lower front cap. And there may be a change in the rear trailer lights, perhaps back-up lights. The video also shows a new system where one can attach add-on items, like a fan, to the living room slide awning frame.

I noticed this particular trailer video showed a 3120RL with no carpet in the front bedroom. I read someone else's post earlier about a recent owners rally. The writer commented hearing about carpet being deleted and a change in the air ducting for the AC.

Happy birthday Montana!

One big change that wasn't mentioned in the video is the new flat ceiling. I heard about this about three months ago. I understand that this will be standard on all new models, not just the 20th. anniversary edition. Glad I got my 2019 last month still with the curved ceiling and the accent rope lighting. The reason for the flat ceiling (I was told) is to give more headroom in the slides. The hamper in the closet takes up valuable room as there really isn't much available for clothes, etc. I do like the automatic night light on the steps and the new tail lights/backup lights. Other than that the other changes are nice but minor. Depending on your preference for the flat ceiling vs curved ceiling, there are several dealers that have 2019's without the new changes.

I'm glad we got our new unit before they went back to the flat ceiling!

Just took delivery of 2019 3121RL. Still has curved ceiling, carpet in bedroom but does have power rails on awning struts for adding accerories (canes with two lights). I guess the other changes will be phased in.

Are these are the Furrion S-Vision cameras? Interesting turn signal activated.

The Montana 3790RD and 3791RD does not have carpet in the living room / den. The deletion of the carpet was made previous to the 20th Anniversary Edition. We will continue to not have carpet in that area.

The link does represent the side view cameras. The turn signal activation is only if the fifth wheel has marker lights that are wired for turn signal. In Montana's case, they will be active when the marker lights are turned on. Similar to the backup camera. With all this said, this is a new system for Furrion and things could change.

The early 2019's still have the curved ceiling, etc., as does mine. Many still on the lots but not for long.

Carpeting is a thing of the past in many other brands/models, except for trim around the couch, etc. The carpeting previously supplied was plain and cheap and many complained about it wearing out very fast. We bought a beautiful 7' by 5'3" area rug from Costco.com. That size leaves a small vinyl border around it and the existing couch carpet trim. On the 3790/3791 models the length (7') fits exactly between the fireplace and the register in front of the theater seat. Much more elegant than the old carpeting would ever be. Also, you can close the two RD slides without removing the area rug. Love it!

What's up with the 2019 3120RL anniversary package. No bath towel racks in the bathroom, no place to hang a shower caddy in the shower.

This Is Groundbreaking

I have been mulling over a new RV our current is a 2015 SOB. I keep saying well "no real reason because all the same box with wheels" and I want DB's without having to aftermarket by going to IN or some other outfit like Performance Trailer Brakes. Looks like a give and take on the new LP. Agree with most that say the LP ought to just be the Montana and not a stepped up Montana $$$$.

I will be checking more into a new rig & price.

We have the 2019 3791RD legacy with disk brakes. Love the disk brakes. Be aware that with many tow vehicles you may have to put in an aftermarket brake controller to operate the electric/hydraulic brakes.
