Washer and dryer

We have a 305RL and are thinking of installing a washer and dryer. It would be in the closet. Not stackable. Has anyone had any issues?

Well we just go back from a 3000 mile trip. Used the Splendide stackables for the first time. DW wants full hookups at the house so she can use them instead of he S&B washer

Splendide Vented Combo in last two units, stacked units in current unit. Only issue was an install issue on current unit, had to pull the washer to remove the kink in the drain hose.

Just don’t get the unvented ones. They are easy to install but take way too long to dry a load. I have one don’t make the same mistake.

I have a splendide combo vented which I love. I have king size sheets and can only do one at a time but I have time. Personally I like loading the washer and coming back and the load is dry! No loading wet clothes into the dryer. Customer service is good too, the latch on the door broke and they sent a new door right away.

We have a Splendide combo and the DW loves it. Would never think of going without one in the future.

Splendide combo. Love it. Put the clothes in once and they are washed and dried when you take them out!

Only thing is you need to install a drip pan but you have no way to drain the water. No manufacturer can tell you where to poke the drain hole to take any overflow out. You may hit a wire front, side, or down. Ours stayed in a drip pan for 10 years without a problem. Ours was a Splendide and we loved it so much we bought another when we changed RVs. The only thing is that it takes forever to dry.

Had a combo unit in my 3400 r l and I found that it didn't like the sign wave of the inverter, as it was more square wave then pure sign wave, Once I used a pure wave all went well.
If you are winterizing the Washer there in a plug behind the little door on the bottom front of the washer. Put a towel on the floor and remove the plug, There shouldn't be much water here just what is in the pump.

HOPE this helps

Rick

Have had them all.
Unvented combo are for those with patience plus time and money to waste.
VENTED combo- close to above and bring an iron (remember those?)
Separates ~~ way to go. Bigger loads and works like at the S&B or commercial laundry.

Bosch

Bosch stackable non-vented, works great and drys fast. You just have to take 240 to the closet.

I installed the drain on our pan. drain hole on the pan to the left then i measured 18" from the back wall and it put the drain through the floor and it ended up in the middle of where the pin box mounts. I used 1/2" CPVC
