Rondo...Our 3791RD is a year old now and it came with Trailer King E rated tires. for us G rated tires were a 1900.00 option. These tires lasted last winter to a trip to the west coast and back, but I never went over 63 MPH. Our tire size is ST 235/80R16. I just had installed 4 of the new Goodyear Endurance tires same size E rated but these have a much higher rated MPH. I was going to move up to tire size 85R16 but was told they were 2 inches bigger than the 80R's and I did not think the rear tire would clear the skirting.

Sailun would have cost less than the Endurance. A much heavier tire as welll.

Rondo, our new 3950BR came with Sailun tires and metal valve stems. Great for the TPMS.

If you blow E rated tires you are most likely overloaded. Or the tires are under inflated.

Even these good quality metal bolt on valve stems can loosen up with use. So you still need a good tire pressure monitor to avoid a failure even on good equipment.

I don't know about all models, but my TPMS came with sensors and stems as a unit.

2017 High Country
arrive with the same wheels and valve stems as the Montana. However, they come with LR E Rainier tires. Just 43 miles from the dealer to the tire shop to have Sailun 235/85/R16 LR G tires with 4400# capacity.

The tire shop owner said he would give $30 per Rainier so he bought them and I was happy. He said he would sell them to a farmer for a hay or tobacco trailer at cost and just charge for mounting.

Like Marathons, they will probably give good service on the Farm, and that's where they belong, on slow moving vehicles.

It may take him a while to sell them. Most wagons have 15" wheels. He did the same when I bought tires when the Cougar was new. He gets most of the work the family needs so he may just be showing appreciation.

Purchased Montana High Country 2017 310RE. Metal stems and Ranier tires. Dealer had them set at 60 psi. Moved them up to 80 psi. Told dealer about this and they were "sorry". Do I need to go to Saliums or can I drive for a while on the Raniers..Why is Keystone sending out rigs with tires that need to be replaced?

Rainiers are about as good as Marathons. Friends went through all five tires (included spare) on a trip to the Canadian Maritime two years ago. Caught four of them before they exploded (broken belts and huge bubbles) the fifth exploded and just left the two side walls. That was on a 2015 Jayco that only had several thousand miles on it.

HC comes with the Rainier for 2 reasons, cost and weight. I do not gamble. My tire dealer had ordered 235/85/R16 Sailuns for me and I drove 43 miles from the dealer to his shop. He gave me $30 for each Rainier. Some have good luck with them.

our 2016 3720RL came with 235/80/r16 "E" trailer kings and metal valve stems. we have around 5,000 miles on her now. last week upgraded to 235/85/R16 G614 "G" with TPMS. night and day difference in the look, the "E" always looked under inflated kept them at 80 PSI. taking her out tomorrow very interested in seeing how she tows with new shoes.
