Is the option for the second A/C in the bedroom now tied into the ducted overhead like the living room unit? I've only seen the front A/C's as a stand alone unit blowing right out the unit itself. Let me know here. Dieselguy

Diesel guy, the vent runs from front to back, otherwise one air would not cool the bedroom. We have tried just opening the vent on the air itself, way to noisy. As far as pics. maybe someday the bride will learn how.Always leave the complicated things to her .LOL

Pictures would be very helpful. Also, maybe an explanation of how you added them and where? Thanks.

That could not be much fun at all if he took ceiling panels down...I took the bedroom ceiling apart to change the speaker wiring from the living room area. I replaced and rewired the speakers for surround in the bedroom instead.
BTW - a finish nailer will put those panels and trim right back up - it shoots through the metal studs...

Ok,i will try to explain, how and what i did ,i purchased four four inch vents [designed for heating ducts, closeable an turnable]. I then pulled the covers off the old vents and measured to the end of the duct.Next we measured from the wall to the center of the orignal vents, measured to center where i wanted to put the new ones, marked them measured 2" to sides of center put vent up drawed circle, drilled a half in hole to insert short jig saw blade cut it out, trimmed duct with utility knife ,inserted vent, screwed it in an presto new vent installed.Whole job took about an hour after findin dem dang tools, dey keep hiden on me.I guess i'm gonna be forced to whip the bride soya get pic's LOL. Hope this help's. If you want more info, help e-mail me an I'll do my best to help. Thanks!!!!!!!!
