Reflections from two rally virgins

We can't think of one event or one minute (pause for train whistle) that Chris and I didn't enjoy. We approached this rally with some skepticism (we've done too many RAH RAH YAWN work events in our lifetime) but we were blown away by the organization, the welcome and the people we met and spoke with. The events and the tours were first class and kudos to everyone that cooked or provided delicious meals for our get togethers. We could go on but all our expectations from Wagonmasters, coordinators, volunteers and attendees to Mor/Ryde and Keystone were exceeded beyond words. Thank you all, and we shall return. Peter & Chris

It was great meeting you both. We look forward to seeing you at future rallies. Perhaps we see you at regionals as well.

The success of this Rally was because of the three wonderful Wagon Master Couples who volunteered at the last minute. It was a great Rally and we owe them big time.

DW and I have considered attending since we bought our rig in 2015. With these testimonials, we have decided to carve out vacation time to attend next year. Looking forward to it and meeting so many of the super kind folks that make up this forum!!

great time. a suggestion for next year rally: if we again have several large items donated, i.e. like the donated TVs, just to make the drawing more equal, you might want to just have each site put ONE ticket in the pot, this way the odds are much more equal. Odds now become more like 1:126 or so. You could do it for all or just one big item.

You could include this one 'special' ticket in the registration packet for each RVer when they show so you wouldn't have to sell any of these tickets.

again, great job to all.

Laura and I couldn't agree more. The wagon masters really stepped up. When some thought at a late date, there might not be a rally, these folks created an incredibly successful event. They organized the coordinators and assistants, ensured the vendors participation and made certain it all went smoothly. Our thanks and gratitude go out to them. We enjoyed meeting new friends, renewing old friendships and look forward to doing the same next year.
