Flashing AGS msg on Dometic Thermostat

After praying for warmer weather for months, finally we have it in Southern New Mexico, only to have our air conditioner not start up.

2005 Montana 3400RL // Dometic Duo-Therm Thermostat

This happened once before when we tried to start up our furnace when it was cold out when the furnace never seems to blow warm air even though we heard the unit turn on.

We've read that "AGS" means "Auto Gas Shutoff" and also "Automatic Generator Start." Since no gas is involved with the Air Conditioner, we're thinking it must be the Automatic Generator Start.

Does any one know what is going on here and if it's an easy fix (replace inline fuse?) or if we're needing to have it serviced.

Here's all I could find on that out on the net: you toggle the zone button from zone 1 to zone 2 to AGS and then set the AGS to OFF by hitting the MODE button. At least that's how it's done with a Duotherm Comfort Control thermostat. I'd try the mode button and see if there is an AGS setting you can trun off.
