Air Admittance Valve

I have a 2010 Montana 3400RL. In the pocket door near the shower there is an air admittance valve. First, what is this valve connected to? Second, how do i get in there to fix it, as everything I'm reading says not to try to remove the pocket door myself?

If it's a black valve forming a loop of pex it's your back flow preventor for the black tank flush. Someone else will have to chime in on how to get at it as mine have always been under the sink. I have heard that some folks had a hole in a cabinet to get in there.

Read this thread about that valve.

Mine was in the pocket door space between the shower wall and my entry closet.

The best thing to do is take it off and throw it away or replace it with a one way valve before it leaks and floods your camper.

As written before, there are hundreds of posts about the black tank anti-siphon valve. I see you have a 2010 3400RL, Here is a post from a 2009 3400RL owner documenting his adventures finding and replacing the valve. The pictures provided are what you really want to see.
