Please give me your thoughts on this

I am negotiating the purchase of my new trailer and this is the best offer I have gotten, would like your thoughts on it.
2005 2950 with all the trimmings, Pullright superslider with super rail installation, prodigy or sentinal brake controller and outlet in sidewall of bed of my truck for 36,000 out the door. What do you think?

I won't advise you on your unit but I will tell you which BRAKE unit to buy.By all means get the PRODIGY. I have the new 05 ford with the installed brake unit and before that I had the prodigity.I have owned several over the years and it was the best.
Just a note on units they usualy average about $1000.00 per ft.or better.

We're with Eagleone. We got the Prodigy, and it couldn't be easier to set up. The rig stops as well as if there were no trailer hooked up. We also LOVE the in-the-bed terminal (ours is on the far back left post, just ahead of the tailgate. Couldn't be happier with that location!!! (there's another current thread on this)

Sounds like a deal to me BUT I like nice even figures so I'd kick back a price of 35,000 and see what happens.
Hey you never know they just might bite. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Gotta aree on the Prodigy and the plug in the sidewall of the bed. Wish I had both in mine.

Sounds like a decent deal to me, especially with the Pullrite and Prodigy thrown in. Even if the dealer wants a little extra for the Prodigy over the Sentinel, it would be worth it to me. We've had both and the Prodigy is the way to go. I'm kicking myself for letting the Prodigy go with our tradein '03 F350. The '05 has the builtin controller so figured I don't need the Prodigy any more. I could probably have easily sold it. FWIW, Ford worked with Tekonsha to develop the builtin controller. It appears it's based on the Prodigy. That says something about the Prodigy.
