Looking for a one night stand w/in 50 miles of Berkley, WV. Most we have tried are pretty rustic oe run down.

Do you mean Beckley or Berkely Springs?? They are on completely opposite ends of the state. Are you staying in WV or passing through??

If Beckley, we like Shady Rest CG just east of Beckley. It's a no frills park but quiet and in a very pretty location. The access road is a one laner gravel road for maybe a mile but the locals expect you and pull over. If you want, call the park and the owner will provide a lead car. We've been there three times, from just overnight to ten days.
