Heated Tanks?
2014 Montana High Country.. During the tour of the HC plant at the fall rally the tour guide said that all HCs from the first had heated tanks but I can't find any listings of that or switches for tank heaters in my unit. I wonder if he mean the basement or enclosed underbelly was heated by the furnace. I will be in N.Carolina for several days in Jan. and temps are forecast to be in low 20s at nite middle 40s days. Will furnace heat be adequate to keep lines in underbelly from freezing?

Heated Tanks
I may have just found the answer in the Winter Camping section which I haven't looked at in a long time. I will still be glad to hear any further info. Thanks

You should not have any issues with those temps.

there is NO heater for the tanks. the heat from your trailer will keep the tanks fine.
you may want to disconnect your water intake hose during the coldest times however.

You can leave a faucet on at a trickle inside the trailer to keep the water running so your hose and the outside spigot won't freeze.

If you do, make sure the tank valve on the tank that you are "trickling" into is open.

Wrap the hose in heat tape.
