Fueled up, truck is ready, next the rig

Went to Kroger last night to get the onboard fuel supply topped out at it's 90 or so gallons capacity. Pleasantly surprised with the fuel being at $3.55 after the discount. Heading to rig tonight for final preps for trip, turn fridge on, etc. and then we will haul it to the house Friday evening to load it up and get ready for being back on the road again. Ahhh, life is going to be back on the enjoyable side very soon (approximately 35 hours give or take a few minutes)!! In a couple of days (Sunday), we will have left the work zoo behind and enjoy the real zoo at New Orleans!!

I'm envious on two counts; Fuel at $3.55/gallon and you're going "glamping" as my wife calls it. Have a great time and Happy Anniversary.

I know you'll have a great time. I'm jealous. Doc is cutting my shoulder next week, so no camping for me until the TN rally in July.

Drive safely.

Went to the mini-storage to fire up the fridge and got delayed by a little over a half hour giving a tour to an elderly couple who are looking at a Montana. They are full-timing in a motorhome and are looking at Big Sky's. They were impressed. I gave them the MOC web-site address and mentioned our place of purchase in HOOK's backyard. They said they were travelling that way and might stop by. They were particularly interested in the 3850FL because they had not seen the insides, asked questions like how did you decide on this one. Had to tell them that when DW and I stepped in, and stepped in, and stepped in, and stepped in (Mid Atlantic Rally joke there!!) we just knew it. Hopefully we can welcome them to the forum shortly. Half a day's work to take care of tomorrow, then the rest of the day to get the rig ready. We are itching for the road and the hum of tires on the blacktop!!
