Question Help! Where Do You Stay in Atlanta?

Help!! We are new fulltimers, just 9 months in. My husband is thinking about taking a position in Atlanta. I have been researching the area and have only found a couple of RV parks. I know there has to be more. As in Orlando, the good ones are sometimes harder to find, especially for fulltimers. So my question to you is, "What is your favorite place to stay in Atlanta?"

Depending on where in Atlanta he will be working it might be a little far to drive esp when he gets off work and hits all the traffic. Anyway our daughter lives in Atlanta and we stay at the KOA in Cartersville when we go to Atlanta. I-75 is not to far from the KOA.

Hi,

It really depends on where the work location would be.
You think we are crazy but the traffic is bad, real bad....
There is a relatively central campground http://www.amrvresort.com
I never stayed there just saw it cutting around traffic.

All around Atlanta are some State Parks all depends where the job is.

Cheers Mike

This is perfect!! Thank you. We have been staying at Tiny Home parks, but I couldn't find one in Atlanta. This park though is in a great area for his commute. Thanks for the traffic update too. We've lived all over. Washington DC, Portland Oregon, and Orlando Florida have been our worst top 3 traffic cities from hell, so far. Think Atlanta will top them?

my wife and I are always joking on our way back to Atlanta from any trip.
Once we see the first zigzag drivers we know we are approaching Atlanta.
The only city I hate more traffic wise is LA.

Plan to do trips to the Smokys in the North.
They are gorgeous

I stayed here last March. It was a pretty comfortable place.
