Fender Skirts From Icondirect.com

We just ordered fender skirts from www.icondirect.com. They carry many replacement parts for RVs. Our Montana is a 2002.

It costs $134.10 for the fender skirt and $37.97 for the shipping. We ordered two skirts and it was still $37.97 for the entire order to be shipped.

When we tried to order from a local RV dealer awhile back, it was $170 for the skirt and $150 for the shipping.

The company says they can recreate any hard-to-find or obsolete fender skirts or other parts.

www.icondirect.com certainly seems to be a place to check out if you are looking for any replacement parts.

I'll report back when the skirts arrive.

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier cause I could have saved you some money! I also have had Marathons blow out and the last one damaged the fender skirt. The dealer wanted $145.00 for one skirt and $80.00 to ship. I then called Keystone direct in Indiana and although they could not sell to me direct, They gave me the name of a dealer close to them. I called just to inquire as to their price and shipping. The skirt was $37.50 and the shipping was $40.00- TOTAL -$77.50! Tiara RV in Elkhart, Indiana ordered it through Keystone who shipped it directly to me. Talk about Dealers charging to much. I'm glad I shopped around.

I just talked with Tiara RV (574-266-2136) and was able to get prices on "fender skirts" and "fender metal" (which is what the fender skirts bolt onto).

Fender skirts run from $86 to $102.
No crating charge.
Shipping is done via UPS and can run $30 and up depending where you live.

Fender metal on the main body is $107.20. (sold as 192" length)
Fender metal on the slide-out is $57.30.
Crating charge: $50.
Shipping only via commercial trucking company: $130 and up.

Tiara RV is in Elkhart, IN near the Keystone Montana factory. If you need to order from them, be sure to have the measurements of what you are trying to order.

We ordered our fender skirts through Icondirect.com and it came to just about $20 over what we would have paid if we had ordered through Tiara RV. They sound like a good place to order from and visit if in the area.

(Just a FYI... Icondirect's Montana fender skirts are the same measurements and have the mountain symbol on them.)

I'm sure glad my dealer didn't quadruple the MSRP on mine last fall. $44 each, $35 shipping to my door from Keystone.

Just blessed I guess.

2 For Him.... You are lucky.

We also need a "J panel" (fender metal) for one side and are just going to buy the metal and then cut and bend it, then a friend who owns an auto body shop is going to paint it for us.

When I replaced one side I was able to buy one replacement unit, for $41 and tax, the prices above clearly reflect the need to shop around!
