television removal... help

How in the word do I get the television out of its cabinet? Its a 2007 3500RL, we want to install a HDTV in the living room.

Thanks for the help

Mike, If the tv slides out, and rotates a bit, get a light and look at the bottom of the pullout. you may also have to rotate it side to side to find the 2 back screws. There are 4 screws holding mine in my 3000rk . Bill

Yours is probably not like ours, but just in case, look in the cabinet under the TV (if there is such). They just ran three long wood screws through the bottom side of the shelf up through the TV chassis. I was horrified when I saw how they did it. Amazing they didn't hit a circuit board.

Don't know about the 3500, but on the 3400 there are two screws that come up from the bottom (into the bottom of the tv) and one that comes down from the top (into the top of the tv). To get to the top screw, you must pop off a small knob in the center of the forward edge. This screw holds the center speaker...pull the speaker out, then you can see the screw head that is holding the top of the tv. Then the tv will slide out.
