MOC numbers

New Here ? And I was thinking why everyone does not put their MOC ID Numbers on their 5th wheels ,,, maybe in the front upper right corner so they can be seen to uncoming traffic ???

Welcome jerrybb to the MOC family.

In response to your question, some of us have put our MOC number on their rigs. I have MOC-420 on both the front upper left corner and centered under the window on the back. Upper left corner works better than right as it is closer to the oncoming traffic. I also have the MOC bumper sticker on both front and rear. Others either haven't done so as yet or they don't want to spoil the looks of their rig.
I am proud of being an MOC member and don't mind telling everyone.

Jerry
For those that don't want to put something on their unit, we did something a little different. We put the MOC bumper sticker on our back window of the 5th wheel and on the back driver's side of our truck. On the bumper sticker I put our MOC number. I have more numbers to put on one of the windows on the street side of the Monty. It is easier to get the stickers off of windows than bumpers and the outside of the Monty. And they do wear out. I need to replace our bumper stickers as they are beginning to fade and shred.
Happy trails........................

Jerry, welcome to the forum. Your post reminded me that some people at the Fall Rally wanted me to post a picture of the MOC numbers that I had made up. They are four inch letters/numbers that closly match the Montana graphics. They can be applied to the ends/sides of the 5er or to a window. I'm at work right now but will try to post a picture tommorrow.

Dennis & Leona were next to us at the rally and the numbers really looked good.

Jerry that is a great idea. I like Glenn's ideas on the number placement so they will be easy to see; more or less like the Air Stream trailer do. I understand those numbers are like a serial number but you can ID people.

Thanks

I can't seem to delet this post so I'll just change it. The next post contains the pictures of the MOC numbers I had made up. They cost me about $32.00 total for two sets. The company that made them is a sign/decal maker in Boise, Idaho. They can change colors and fonts to more closly match the style of lettering on your unit.

If you have a sign maker in your area try taking a digital photo of your end cap and e-mail it your local shop they may be able to help you. If you want the name and phone of the shop I used send me a PM and I'll send you the their info.

Sweetfire, great pictures. The size looks like it would be real easy to read. What is the height of them? Marilyn

We've had our numbers on since we found out what they were over a year ago. So far I haven't seen anyone else with an MOC number although we have seen lots of Montanas.

Good Job. Will have to find some numbers when I get to Tucson. Of course I have to find OZ's note first at the RV Park.....

Here's an idea... next National/Regional Rally, someone invite a graphics/decal company in to take orders. I love the matching graphics and placement, Dennis.

I would have mounted the rear set over the rear window but we were leaving for Goshen that afternoon and I wanted them on. Where I park the Montana there is a some what steep slope that begins at the rear of the unit. It was just too much effort to unpack the Little Giant ladder so I could get high enough. In hind sight the higher number placement in the rear would be easier to see over traffic. I might change it next spring when it warms up, those letters/numbers don't stick good if the trailer walls are cold.

D and M on the road (MOC #49) also have their number on the left upper side of their rig. We think its a great idea and are planning to add our MOC number to our rig soon.
