How much weight ?

I was wondering If the back receiver on a 2010 3400rl Montana could handle a wheel chair carrier and small golf cart? Both being about 400 Lbs.

On our 2010 that hitch was barely able to support a bike carrier. Some have had single and even double hitches welded on the back to do a wide variety of jobs, but your frame was never intended to support that so it's a risk.

I just found a trailer called the Swivel Wheel ECO. It is a pull behind and will support up to 600 lbs. and the weight will not be on the hitch.

So for a trailer such as the swivel maxing out at 600#, that translates to 60# on the montana hitch. Certainly within the limits of the hitch. What I don't know about is whether this would be considered as double towing by the dept of transportation in all states and if so, where legal.
