The Walnut Hills Campground is a beautiful campground and the area they are putting us in overlooks the lake. The photo below speaks for itself...
Only problem is the site are just long enough to fit our Monty's with little to spare. Also some are a bit of a problem hooking up. For freshwater I used 40 feet of hose. For the electric I needed my 30 AMP extension cord. The good part is I only needed 3 feet of sewer hose. As one person put it, "These site certainly weren't designed by an RVer.
At this point Gyro and Kimmrg have arrived today and 2 wannabe couples arrived yesterday shortly after Lorraine and I arrived. The wannabes are Pud and Janie & Clint and Blanche. As soon as they figure out how to log on and stay on they will be members. You can bet I will see to it that they will be signing on as soon as they get home.
