I would expect that the OPs rig came with Sailun G rated tires. I am not aware of Michelin G rated tires available to fit a Montana. If you downgrade to E rated tires you are asking for trouble.

Multimeter
I bought a cheap one at Harbor Freight and keep it in my trailer tool box. I've used it twice now for other RV'ers who were having electrical issues with their rigs. So you never know who you can help with the tools and supplies you carry in your rig.

You can't have everything with you, but generally there's a Lowes, Home Depot, and/or Harbor Freight some where near by to get what you need. Also as a last resort you could look for a Camping World.

I second the recommendation for a TPMS! Mine paid for itself on the very first trip out. Even if you have new Saliun G rated tires, things can and will happen to trailer tires. It's not a matter of " if " you will ever have a tire / bearing problem, it's just a matter of "when". A TPMS is a proactive investment in safety and cost avoidance!

Enjoy the adventure.
I like the checklist idea but just keep adding to what I have in the camper.
Good luck

It sounds like you have a pretty good list. I am just going to pray that you are planning to drop the 5er at the campground BEFORE you have to pick up your wife from BWI! The visual image I have of you pulling that monster through the BWI airport is NOT funny!

It will increase as you travel.

Be sure your tool box has empty slots and storage areas. You will be adding to your inventory after each trip. Be it, screws, bolts, washers, batteries, another wrench, another screw driver, etc. You will eventually find yourself with "those" needed items for the next fix or repair and then you will smile, at least to yourself.

The journey is AWESOME.

Thanks everyone.....It was a great trip......All went well except for the one clown in the car when I was headed North to Maryland coming through Knoxville who tried to drive under the Montana......A big thanks goes out to the Driver in the 2 Million Mile Club in that Big Orange Peterbuilt that saw it coming and backed down his 80K to give me an out to avoid the accident.......

God Bless All......Safe Travels........
