We are staying at Grand trails RV park at Cordon park this next weekend, can give a report then. We have been told. that spring Mill state park is one of the nicest you will ever stay at. It is by Bedford, northwest of louisville

I was looking at the Grand Trails web site, waiting for your report.
Thanks

Ron & Paul

Take a look at the Charlestown State Park in Charlestown, Indiana. The RV park has full hook up sites with 30/50 amp service. The pads are asphalt and pretty level. Nice grass sites and fairly large. This is one of our favorite state park CGs and we visit regularly. The park is northeast of Louisville. It is about 25 minutes into downtown Louisville. It is about 30/35 minutes to the fairgrounds, IF the bridge over the Ohio on I65 is done, which I do not believe it is nearly complete as of now. ReserveAmerica can be used for online reservations. Go to the Indiana DNR web site, which will list all of the state parks in Indiana with camp sites.

We looked at both Spring Mill State Park and Charlestown State Park. We like both of them so we booked four days in each one. Thanks jpkelpe and bw2 for the recomendations.

Well since you are in the neighborhood, after Spring Mill go on up to Brown County state park and stay in the Buffalo Ridge camping area and tour Nashville Indiana.

Thanks for the reply. Maybe next time, after that we have planned stops in MT. Vernon, Indiana and then West Plains, Missouri.
