Winter advisories slowing us down
We were planning on leaving Sundance, WY today aiming at arriving at the Blue Ox factory in Pender, NE on Tuesday. The winds rocked and rolled our rig last night and this morning we see a Winter Weather Advisory calling for snow and 20-35 MPH winds with gusts to 50. That is not weather that we tow in so we stay here one more day. Last spring we were in this same campground and stayed inside our Monty with the slides in while being buffeted by 65 MPH gusts. Trying to tell us something, Wyoming?

We don't tow in flying white snow stuff either, so that is our rule #2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, ----- you get the drift, errr, play on words, time for Carol to call it a day.
You guys take it easy out there! And, try to stay warm, eh??

Gee maybe we should have heeded this advise. Our 07 3075 is sittine in a junk yard in Laramie after we sild sideways into the center divider and it fipped on to it's side. Oh well at least we had our new 3400 Hickory on order before the accident and luckly had replacement value insurance. Got a check from the insurance compamy (GMAC thru Good Sam for double the trade in we were going to get.
Getting tired of waiting for the new one though.

Hi Don,
Glad you got the insurance $$$$. I know you must be happy with that but I'm sure you would rather not have had to deal with the accident. By the way did you happen to get any pictures of your old rig? Probably was not high on your priority at the time!
Do you think your new rig will get delivered in time for the Memorial Day gathering? I sure hope so.
See you soon.
