I believe your w/d is located in the closet just inside the doorway in your model. Look at the outside wall in that closet and see if there is a sticker telling you to install the vent on this wall. That is the wall and you should be safe drilling the hole between the door and the back wall of the closet.

I have a stackable installed by the dealer in my 3400RL '08 (built May '07) As you come in the entrance door there is a bi-fold door to the right. As you look in the vent will be on the right wall to the outside. On the outside as you are looking at the entrance door, the vent will be on the right. It is almost eye level. I can't do it tonight, but if needed I can give you outside measurements of where the vent is located.

What Wayne said... I have a 2007 3400 and a stackable w/d (Ariston). I had my dealership install it aftermarket. I'm sure they put it where Wayne's is as there are exact direction for the installer of these units.

My vent is definitely not as high as Ozz's vent.

The vent hole I cut isn't as pretty as OZZ's vent hole. I didn't have the proper size dril bit when I cut the hole; but you wouldn't have known it if I hadn't told ya!
It's covered up and sealed good to prevent any leaks. I've always heard that a good carpenter can cover up his mistakes.
OZZ, I like your vent cover you have more than the one I installed. I got mine at an RV store then I started noticing ones like you have. Where did you get yours from?
Don't the decals look great? NOT!

Bill, those dryer vent covers are through CW (Ariston accessory?). I have one just like Ozz - only not so high. Ozz has a 220v setup in his rig. My Ariston stackable dryer is only 110v.
