New rig
Picked up our new 3582 yesterday. By the time we got home we we're too tired to open it up or even take it off the truck. OK, the real reason is we misplaced the trailer keys. After tearing the inside of truck out, twice, Louise found them in the bottom of her purse. Today we get to sort through all the stuff we took out of the old Monte and what we don't put back will go to good will. Lots of bells and whistles in this one including heated floor in the upstairs, remote back up camera and heated theater seats. The best part is no more moving chairs before closing up.

Congrats Dick on the new rig! Not pushing the chairs around would almost be reason enough to trade for a new model. Sounds like a really nice unit.

Thx. We're pretty happy with it. Now if I could just swing a new truck, I'd be in fat city.

The level up and not having to heft the chairs around were part of the reason we traded, or so we tell ourselves that. Congrats on the new rig and enjoy!

Congratulations! Hope the new rig brings you many happy memories. Been there and done that with a number of things in Joyce's purse.

Congrats on the new rig . Yes not having to move the chairs and the level up system is worth the trade. Have a great time with it and be safe.

Thx all. We did notice something different with the level up. Our previous unit had an add on level up and the placement of the jacks were different than the new one. Maybe because of the length. However, the right middle jack, extended all the way, did not reach the ground. We raised it and put some boards under it for now. Our drive has a slope but we never had this with our previous. It looked ok at the dealer. I may have to reset the system, though the jack was pretty well extended. I'm surprised I didn't get an error message.

Congrats on the new rig. Our previous rig was the forerunner to yours, the 3580RL. We liked the new 3582 but loved the 3610.
Wishing you many happy miles of traveling!

I seem to recall a couple of cases where the level-up system came close to running out of stroke in the rear when I put down front and rears, then told it to auto level instead of lowering front and leaving the lowering of the rears to the system. But then, this perception could be just confusion with my two brain cells. John

Best of luck, enjoyment and safe miles for you both. We love the 3582 floor plan with its openness.
There is a maximum length on each ram of your level-up system and just not sure if you reached maximum on that middle side ram. Suggest
you call LCI (Lippert) and ask for Support and there are guys that answer that really know their stuff. Good Luck. Dennis

Thx Dennis. Pretty sure we reached full extension. In the past out 3400 was positioned differently in our driveway creating less slope. We usually have boards under the jacks but didn't this time. I lifted the jack, placed boards and was ok.

It was high time Montana came up with the stadium seating where you don't have to move the chairs. My brother as a SOB and it has stadium seating with the TV in the proper viewing spot. No moving anything to travel or watch TV. Several other brands have the TV directly in front of the chairs. The only way to do it.

One of the biggest reasons for us buying new is that we don't have to move any furniture.

Enjoy your new 3582. We have a 2013 and love ours. We removed the couch completely, moved the recliners to the couch location and moved the table to the back where the recliners were. No more moving furniture before hauling and more spacious for the two of us, we had no need for the extra seating of the couch.
