excellent CG

Stayed at Candy Hill CG, Winchester, VA
Facilities are excellent - clean and lot's of beautiful grass. Operator is former Shriner "Wagon Master". We camped with our 3655FL and our son with his class A in adjacent sites. This is local site for us, and we will visit often.

Glad to hear that they are still as good as they were when we stayed there 4 yrs ago. Had a great pancake breakfast there--must have been Memorial Day Weekend.

We have passed this campground traveling on 81... it does look very clean. Was there much noise from the 81 traffic? Hummmm, last time passing through, I did notice some Montanas there... This was in May (Richmond race).

I know this one also, originally from that area, but its been years ago. As far as kids go? how did you see it in that aspect? kid friendly?

Rperry, did you happen to notice what kinds of activities that park has for teenagers? Each year we pick up our oldest two granddaughters (15 and 14 this month) in Springfield, VA, and take them camping. We pick them up in late August this year. We'll take them out to a park near Luray, VA, this year but I'd like to find something a bit closer (200 miles roundtrip to pick them up) next year.

Thanks.
