putting the Monty in storage

We have been in our 2007 3400RL for 15 months. We are about to move in to our new (and hopefully last) stick home in about a month. We will then put the Monty into storage for weekend trips and vacations until retirement (hopefully within 3-5 years). I know I remember seeing a checklist for storing the coach somewhere on the site. Please let me know where to find it. Our storage facility has cover, but not electricity. I have learned SO MUCH from the group and I am SO APPRECIATIVE. Thanks.

Living where you do, not sure you need to winterize?! Empty the holding tanks for sure. AND, remove the negative battery terminal for storage w/o power. CO2 detector etc. will run the battery down. Fridge off, etc.?! I know there are lists out there, but not sure where. Search on "winterizing?"

Even though my coach is stored indoors, when storing my coach for the winter months I do the following: winterize the coach. Leave the roof vents cracked to help any moisture escape from inside the coach. Cover the tires with wheel covers. I keep the day/night shades pulled to help keep the interior from fading and leave the fridge door open to stop mold from forming. I also disconnect the battery and make sure that all tanks are empty.

I also place Bounce fabric sheets under every piece of furniture and in all cabinets and drawers. I have been told that mice hate the smell of Bounce. So far I have not had any problems with mice.

We noticed this weekend that the leaves are starting to fall off the trees here in Northern Ohio, It is chilly in the mornings and the weather folks are starting to report the temps as "closer to the lake" and "Inland" The stores are full of winter clothing..That can only mean one thing, we can see it coming, it is just around the corner... FLORDIA...
