Quartzsite Water Bladder & Pump

Several people have asked me where to buy these.

Water Bladder

12v Pump

No one NEEDS to buy these, there will be plenty to go around for your use.

Very nice pump! 260 gallons per hour means it'll dump a 45 gallon water bladder in less than 10 minutes!

The water bladder link did not work for me. But I cannot get into anything having to do with Camping World right now. I'll check tomorrow.

These should be good for any boondock outing, not just Quartzite!

I have been meaning to ask, at what point would be the best place for an inline water filter? I ask because a filter tends to slow down water flow and would it be better for the filter to be used when the bladder is filled up and then before or after the pump? Any ideas? Thanks!

Pumps don't like restrictions on the intake so if a filter is wanted the outlet or pressure side of the pump is best

It says 260 gallons per hour at 50 psi. You would be transferring at near zero psi so the volume would be considerably more.

Art, I use a sediment filter when filling the bladder. I put quick connects on both sides of the filter and on the bladder. I plug a short hose into the input of the filter and the other end into the hose bib. On the outlet side of the filter another quick connect that goes from there to the input of the bladder.

I never filter from the bladder/pump to the trailer.

Sorry, that just barely makes sense....

When we got our 1st RV ('03 2955RL) we upgraded the water pump. The original pump went into one of those plastic ammo boxes you get from Cabelas. We added a 20' - 12V cord and a couple of plastic lines. It will transfer a 40 gallon bladder in good time. Our total expenditure (not counting the replacement pump and bulk ammo) was about $10 for plastic parts. It too will be available for anyones use at Quartzite.
