Good pictures. Thanks, Jim and Sue. When you get done touring the area would you let me know which rv parks you'd recommend for a two-month stay? Thanks.

OZZ,
They say you have been pimping out your Montana, now you have to work on pimping out the campsite. This picture was taken about 80 miles South of you in Ehrenberg, AZ. The Colorado River is about 100 feet behind the Montana and across the river is Blythe, CA.

Cool....
I think Lake Havasu has stolen our hearts, we were comparing it to South Texas, South Padre, Lake Havasu won.

Ozz, I don't think you could get a much better view than what you have there! It must just be unreal to look out your back window at the mountains and that scenery - how gorgeous! I can't imagine waking up and seeing that everyday.

Sandi and John, we have to pinch ourselves every day, so we don't think we are dreaming.
We stopped and checked some prices for display open homes...Ouch! $150-$175.00 Per Square foot construction costs, a nice lot goes for $130-$160,000, a small one at that...
The park models here vary from a small one at $65,000 to a nice double with the Arizona room and a place for your boat for $265,000. Ouch again. Then, you still have to pay for the space monthly, and utilities.
With our RV's we wouldn't need the park model.
Take care, Ozz

Pete, I like the Flag and the birds, we just got our wind sock whirley thing up, it's 20' above the top of the Monte, at that spot, around 30' up. You can see it from across the C.G.
(Nice Big Sky)

Pete,
With a beautiful home and terrific view like you and Darla have in Hurricane what the heck are you doing in a place like Ehrenberg? Does this mean your drive will be empty for us to park in in a few weeks?

That was a picture from last winter. Won't know if we will have a spot till Thanksgiving, guy from CA is coming down to look at our 5er. He might buy the truck and 5er.
OZZ
Here's a picture of a nice place to park just 50 miles South of Lake Havasu, Place called Earp, CA, just across the river from Parker, AZ and a casino.

8.1 Al hit it right on the head, Emerald Cove and it has full hookups. You have to belong to RPI, Coast to Coast, or be a member of the park to stay there. We belong to RPI so it cost us $8.00 a night. Think they had a sign that if you attend a presentation you can stay a few days for free. There are about 10 parks or so on the river in that area or across the river. They start below Parker Dam and run all the way to Parker, AZ.

We get offers from them all the time for free three night stay if we listen to their presentation. We'll gather them all up and stay for a month!
Happy trails.....................

Lake Havasu (indian name) is a great place. I spent a few months there before going to Iraq. It has some interesting history. Did you know it used to be a R&R location for the military in WWII and there is a small troop plane at the bottom of the lake?? The bridge (London Bridge) was bought and moved there by Robert Mcculloch, the original founder of Mccullloch power tools and creator of Lake Havasu City.
