Montana Dealers
I don't see a category for this, so I'll post the question here. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience (positive or negative) with Montana dealers in the New England area? Any recomendations or caveats would be most appreciated.
I think the three closest dealers to me are:
Arlington RV Supercenter
East Greenwich, RI
-----------------------------------
Diamond RV Center
West Hatfield, MA
------------------------------------
Campers of Kingston
Kingston, NH

I bought my 3400RL from Arlington RV. I got what I believe is an excellent deal and if you want to contact me privately, I'll set you up with the rep I dealt with. A nice guy. Also, IMO, the dealer is one of the the most important elements in your purchase. Arlington RV has been around for over thirty years and when you purchase your RV the contact phone numbers include the owner's home phone. I think they call that customer support.

I have been talking with Campers Inn in Kingston the last two weeks negotiating the purchase of a Montana. Very professional and direct in the sales approach (so far). Large service/parts department. Ask for George Katsunakis if you call. Good Luck

I also purchased my Montana from Campers Inn in Kingston and delt with George K.
As stated, fair price(based on earlier posts). They do have a large service area. The problems that I did have were problems that came out of the service area. The service manager recognized these problems and did step up to rectify them to my satisfaction. This is our 3rd RV from Campers Inn.

Codfish,
I've dealt with their service department several times over the last six months, They always seem professional and courtiuos.
Just my 2 cents.

Campers Inn has a second location that is closer to you than Kingston, N.H.. I can't remember where, but it might be in Taunton or Raynham. I think its Raynham. I have bought two fivers from the Kingston location. Sales is great but service is less than desireable. Last year they expanded the service part of the business and in the process were all screwed up. And the manager that handles the warranty problems is tactless and does not have good customer relations in mind.

Bought our Mountaineer 315RLS from Campers Inn of Kingston this past year. Our experience was positive enough. Felt we got a competitive price. I needed to replace the button caps that our dog ate off all the the furniture and they were very helpful in getting them. We have not had any service/repair dealings with them since purchase so can't say more.

Hello Codfish,
Don't know if you bought yet, but I shopped Diamond RV, Campers Inn and Webb RV in Bangor Maine. Saved around 2 grand at Webbs. I know it's a haul, but like they say... They got the sharpest pencil in town.. Ask for Rodney
